We are One

Written and Illustrated by Jennifer Black

'We Are One' is a rhythmic tale, accompanied by vibrant illustrations that speaks to children and the child within us all of oneness. It is a reminder that no matter what our nationality, gender, faith, species, shape, size, colour or we make different sounds and see things individually, we are all essentially the same. It is our birthright to remember and honour the life we have been given, the lives of others and give Mother Earth the respect she deserves by living in gratitude as a global family. Through this understanding we treat and love each other as ourselves to establish peace and harmony in our lives and on the planet.
The intent is to inspire, remind and share this message of truth to give 'We Are One' the foundation to contribute to the welfare and evolution of children around the world.

Jennifer Black was born in New York, USA and moved to Australia in 1982. She now lives in the Byron Bay, Australia with her beloved and two young children.

Taraleigh Steiner Pre-School

Little Sparrow is off to the Taraleigh Steiner Pre-School Open Day on Saturday 22 May which means that the shop will be closed for the day.....
If you need anything for the weekend please pop in during the week or you can call to make other arrangements but it would be grand to see you at the Open Day!

Lyra...love em!

New to the shop are the Lyra pencils indivually!
Alongside the packets of the colour giant pencils are the singular ones now so you can add to your rainbow of colour!
And you can store them all safely in these lovely hand patch-worked Pencil Rolls!
These pencils are truly wonderful to use, they don't break before you sharpen them, they are smooth and vivid, great to hold and best of all they last for ages...my 17 year old, VCE art student is still using hers from grade 1!
