steiner doll making class
We will be making a formed doll in a day...quite a feat really but certainly achievable!
The last group of gals did amazingly well a couple of weeks ago and i have already seen two of said gals proudly showing off their art!
"The favourite doll can become like an alter ego for the child, invested with a bit of the child's own emerging sense of self."
Rahima Baldwin Darcy, You are Your Child's First Teacher
We will be making a simple formed doll perfect for the under 4's, so sweet and simple in their form but so much fun to dress and look after! They are made from a cotton broadcloth, with the heads formed in the traditional waldorf method of doll making, a little bit tricky but i teach the gals all the tricks and tips i've had to develop of the past 19 years in my dollmaking journey!
There will be much chatting and eating for sure.....
...and then next week i'm off to Yarraville for an "in-home" dollmaking day. Yep that's right i will come to you! All you need is a group of 7 (including yourself) and a venue that suits you and i will bring all you need to make your gorgeous doll!
...you contact me here for a further chat about your own dollmaking day!
